Close Encounter at Dorst Creek

Here is a rare encounter of a group of curious deer interrupting our quiet picnic half hidden in tall meadow grasses partially blocked from view, in Dorst Creek in the Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Park in California. Majestic towering groves of glorious redwoods flank this campground, and black bears roam here often freely amidst the campers at night.
