A Plein Air watercolor painted in Terlingua, Texas. I'm drawn to Big Bend National Park and the Rio Grande Valley every year to try and paint this incredibly dry and dusty country and the unique character of the people, the do-it-yourself structures with their additions, textures, the distant mountains, and the feeling that I have walked back in time to the 1890's of the old west.
