We Are One

This is a portrait of a beautiful woman named Maka who painted tribal markings on her face for the photo shoot. I really wanted to connect her to African roots and symbolize her strength, confidence and beauty. "We Are One" embodies that strength in every woman, their independence and majestic beauty they all possess. I hope when woman, and men for that matter, look at it, they see that and feel the connection of the lioness guiding her, protecting her, and giving her all the strength she needs.
