Along the Wild Pacific Trail

The Wild Pacific Trail runs along the coastline near Ucluelet on Vancouver Island. We walked the trail early in the morning, as the sun was just coming up. The resulting light was so intense at the turn of the trail captured in this scene, that I ended up taking many different photos . I chose this one to do a large painting of, as the composition and light was perfect.
