This painting was inspired by a trip to Taos NM after visiting Georgia O’Keeffes studio in Abiquiu We had just finished dinner and decided to try to drive out to the Rio Grande before dark. This was the scene just as we got there. The painting depicts the view from the bridge over the gorge. It was exciting and calm at the same time
