Autumn

This portrait has been created in my studio, with charcoal and pencils on watercolour paper.
The movements of our soul are visible on our faces: they are called emotions.
We have some of them that accompany us as a mark, they are only ours, they are unique.

Some emotions are strong and overwhelming, like the heat of summer afternoons. Others betray the flicker of our eyes, they are light and sudden, like the rains in spring. Others present the silence and lack of light that we feel inside, as in cold winter.
Some emotions are difficult to register: they are hidden in the shadows, they are suspended like the time of waiting, like the leaves of trees in autumn.
