Inspired from the day-to-day cases in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Operating room. I’m usually scrubbed in with the surgeon but took the time to find an interesting composition in another surgery going in that day. Lighting in the OR is fantastic as most of the surgical field is in shadow with the main focus of light, in Cardiothoracic surgery specifically, in the chest.
