Evening Luminosity

This ancient tree was bathed in the glow of a setting sun and was just striking with its presence in a dilapidated farmstead. I have made numerous attempts to paint this image but never could do justice to the light. This time I captured the glow and contrast of the sunlight against the purple shadows.
