Inspired by the extraordinary smell and glowing morning light in this eucalyptus grove, experienced during a walk in Santa Paula, California, I wanted to capture the unique shapes and bark these giant's possess but also translate the gorgeous light I saw and the serenity I felt. It's always a joy when I can escape traffic noise on a large ranch like this one and I'm drawn to agricultural, smaller towns like Santa Paula, CA.
