Sacred

A few years ago I was in Monument Valley and saw a group of monks experience this sacred America place. The image tattooed itself on my psyche: raven regards monk; monk regards you through the lens of his camera, and you all exist in a place which remains unflappably detached from human histrionics. The benign detachment of the. landscape of the American Southwest is food for my artist's soul.
